Parents' Night

What an educational evening it was!! We wish to thank all those families who made last night’s Parents’ Night successful with their participation.  Students thoroughly enjoyed and took great pride in demonstrating classroom jobs and presentations to all the visitors.  Your presence was greatly appreciated by all!

What a ROCKing Field Trip !!

Upper Elementary students traveled to Vulcan Materials' Dolcito Quarry for a field trip this Friday, January 23rd. The field trip gave the students a chance to have a hands-on experience with fossils, rocks and other earth materials. The trip coin­cided with our study of earth materials and rock cycle.

In the Dolcito classroom, students learned some key safety measures and how important it is to follow these measures when working in the mines. The students got to experience “rock crushing” in a “crusher”.  But the most exciting part was when we got to weigh our school bus with and without passengers on it.
